TestPros is a successful and growing business, established in 1988 to provide Information Technology (IT) technical support services to a wide range of Commercial and U.S. Federal, State, and Local Government customers. Our services are consistent in high quality and delivered through a set of repeatable processes and frameworks and include; Program Management, Program Oversight, Process Audit, Intelligence Analysis, Cyber Security, Computer Forensics, Software Supply Chain Assurance, Software Testing, Test Automation, Section 508/WCAG Accessibility Assessment, Localization Testing, Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), Quality Assurance (QA), Compliance, and Research and Development (R&D) services.
For big or complicated projects, it’s essential that you follow approved processes and procedures. TestPros will evaluate your processes and procedures that are either in draft form or have been approved. Our company is able to provide crucial support for verification and validation independently to many different types of processes. These include anything from configuration management and testing to CPIC or EVMS.
Approach
TestPros’ IVV&T approach follows a common and repeatable assessment framework for all efforts. We perform each step (requirements and risk analysis, test strategy and design, test plan(s), resource allocation and test execution, and lessons learned and results reporting) in our IVV&T process regardless of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (Agile, ITSM Waterfall, or other variants) or application source (COTS, GOTS, custom). Within this framework, we adapt the timing of our IVV&T staff’s involvement, the pace of execution, and the depth of coverage based upon a system release’s risk profile, the PMO’s schedule objectives, and its relative importance to other concurrent releases.
We built our approach based on IEEE std 1012-2016, IEEE Standard for System, Software, and Hardware Verification and Validation. We deliver the approach using the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMI PMBOK) for project management, ITIL2017 for IT Service Management (ITSM), and CMMI L3-aligned standard operating procedures to provide a solid foundation of repeatable best practices.
