Kaila Bundgard is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over a decade of experience spanning both military and civilian roles. She spent seven years in the U.S. Air Force, where she specialized in COMSEC and ISSO roles, collaborating closely with the NSA towards the end of her service commitment. After her military service, she worked as a civilian ISSM/ISSO for the Department of Defense in an intelligence squadron and later as a cybersecurity contractor for the Navy within the healthcare sector. For the past two years, Kaila has been freelancing, providing IT blog content and cybersecurity policy consulting to small and medium-sized businesses.
